Our friends at Bitter have just launched a new 'negroni hour' every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday until the end of February 2019. Stay warm with their favorite cocktail, Negroni, in four styles - Sbagliato, Classico, Autumn and Pineapple.

Dec 21: California Wildfires Charity Raffle & Wine Tasting

'Tis the season for giving and as native Californians, the owners of DEUS Cocktail Club are holding a fundraiser for the Wildfire Relief Fund benefiting those affected by the recent fires. This charity raffle and informal wine tasting are sponsored by AMWines with a flight comprised of three reds and three whites. If wine tasting's not your thing, feel free to pop by for a beer or cocktail as the regular menu is still available. Raffle prizes include: wine, home decorations, dining vouchers, massage vouchers, and a two-night suite at Heritage Villas, Zhouzhuang.

New Year's Eve is just around the corner. If you've been procrastinating on making plans, fear not. Grand Hyatt Shanghai is throwing a huge end-of-year bash. This one's going to be extravagant. Entry includes free-flow Champagne and canapes. Studio 188 will keep things going all night long with their lively international tunes. As the clock strikes midnight, 10,000 balloons will be released inside the gorgeous 33-story atrium. It's bound to be a truly memorable way to ring in the new year.

Wouldn't it be great to eat oysters for a good cause? The Oysterlicious Restaurant Group has made this dream come true. Every year, over three million Chinese children drop out before reaching middle school, with the majority of them being girls. That's why The Plump Oyster, Osteria and C Pearl Pudong are donating RMB10 to Educating Girls of Rural China for every oyster you order – giving back never tasted so good. As of Dec 2, they had sold 3,625 oysters for a total donation of RMB36,260, and the more you slurp, the more they donate.

Funkadeli has once again partnered up with Chef Austin Hu for a new Italian-inspired brunch menu. Mains include poached eggs with smoked pancetta, spicy chicken diavola, smoked salmon and avocado toast, chicken cotoletta, pumpkin ravioli, and beef tartare. Sides include pumpkin soup, roasted romanesco broccoli, and vegetable crudo. Be sure to try the spiced apple cake, and if you are feeling crazy add on free-flow starting from RMB128.
