Dec 13: Girls Night Out - Fashion Show

Calling all girls! Bar Rouge and MVP Shanghai are hosting another bangin’ Girls Night Out. Expect a dazzling fashion show, lucky draws and giveaways courtesy of this week’s guest sponsor, Italian-French Luxury fashion designer Atelier Fusari. All the ladies also get free cocktails and manicures from 9.30pm until 11.30pm.

Dec 13: The Ugly Christmas Jumper Party

The Shanghai Collective have teamed up with Shanghai Mamas and The Pearl to give you The Ugly Christmas Jumper Party and fundraiser of the year. The evening will be filled with raffle draws and prizes, a Christmas quiz, games and a special appearance by 80s house band Red Stars. Gather your troops and your ugliest of ugly sweaters for a night of jollies! To top it all off, all profits will be donated to Heart to Heart Shanghai, so you can feel extra good about all the fun you had.

Alter's transforming the cut for a night of Italo disco, house acid and soul, but like, Japanese and artsy. As winter's decided it's time for a change of weather, this might be one of your last chances to enjoy that city skyline from up high.

Dec 14: King Kong Opening Party

There's a new monkey on Donghu Lu and its name is King Kong. With hip hop on the roster, they'll be going strong all night, and if you email in advance getting your name on the VIP list, you'll have access to free booze all night. Or until they run out. Or change their minds. Monkey!

Dec 15: The Friends of Peddlers XMAS Party

Peddlers Gin is hosting their second annual Christmas party at their Gin Garden bar pop-up in Suitsupply. Drink holiday cocktails made with Chinese craft gin while snacking on free Sichuan noodles crafted by Le Maison. Guests wearing a Christmas jumper will receive a free cocktail. The first 50 people to buy a drink will go in the lucky draw to win great prizes such as a private tasting (with cocktail lessons) for you and five friends, and they've got some super sweet limited edition (and artsy) bottles for sale.

Ten bars and a whole of of music are flooding Wuding Lu this Saturday. The set list ranges from Yanran and Altieri to Tbird Love and her dizzying flute playing in a score that reps our fair city's music scene hard. Tickets get you six drinks, so a pretty stellar deal for the bustling bar street.
