Shalanaya Open Air Festival returns from September 21-24 for its sixth edition. Known for its groovy Burning Man vibes, interactive activities and artistic community, this festival welcomes the young and old in an open-air atmosphere. As always, festival-goers can expect to experience an eclectic mix of music, art, outdoor activities and good vibes all round.

Coinciding with the Mid-Autumn Festival, Shalanaya will span four days this time around. For its sixth edition, Shalanaya is returning back home to its original venue Bai Guo Yuan on the outskirts of the ancient water town of Zhujiajiao. The venue is surrounded by lakes, grassy fields and trees. It might feel like another world but it's actually super accessible from downtown Shanghai.

Both local and international artists will perform on two stages throughout the festival. The Main Stage is dedicated to all things psytrance, techno and tech-house, and the Chillout Stage lets you relax with ambient, psybient, tribal and world music.
In addition, there will be a bunch of cool workshops, fire performances, live bands, art installations, creative markets, drum circles and jam sessions.

This is a multi-day music fest which means the music won't stop from 2pm on Friday till noon on Monday. The venue also includes camp grounds, washing facilities, bars and healthy food stalls. So you'll have everything you need.
