It's that time of year again; our biggest event of the season: the 16th edition of the That's Shanghai Food & Drink Awards, which is proudly sponsored by Heineken and hosted by Bar Rouge.
Just like every year, readers have a month to vote for their favorite restaurants, bars, chefs, cafes, mixologists and more.
How to Vote
Vote now by following us on WeChat, which you can do by scanning the QR code below:

Once you've added our account, tap the "Vote!" button at the bottom of the screen to start selecting your favorites:
Daily WeChat Voting
We'll also be running daily WeChat flash voting for select categories on our account throughout the month of August. Message "Schedule" to our WeChat account (ID: Thats_Shanghai) for a full list of when we will release each vote.
You will only have 48 hours to vote for each non-open vote category – so act fast!
I missed the deadline for the WeChat flash vote!
Missed the deadline to vote via the daily WeChat posts? Simply tap the "Vote" button at the bottom of our WeChat page, where the polls will be open 24/7!
The deadline to submit votes is August 31 at 11.59pm. Any submissions sent after will not be counted.
I can't see my favorite on the list! How can I vote for it?
Don't see your favorite on our voting page? Write-in votes will be accepted for each category – just scroll to the bottom of the page and enter your nominee into the Open Vote Section:
Is your choice not listed in the daily WeChat vote? Message our account "[Category]: [Your Choice]" and we'll count it as a write-in vote. One write-in vote per user only. Submissions sent after the vote closes will not be considered.

**How do I vote for Restaurant/Bar/Club of the Year?**
Votes for Restaurant, Bar and Club of the Year will be accepted on an open vote basis. Simply type in your favorite and tap the vote button once you've chosen the venue.
The deadline to submit open votes for Bar, Club and Restaurant of the Year is August 31 at 11.59pm. Any submissions sent after will not be counted. One open vote per category only.
