Ever considered fighting in Brawl on the Bund, but for one reason or another you decided to hold back?
Well maybe this is finally your time to make a move! Shanghai's premier White Collar Boxing China event, which returns in November.
This marks the 10-year anniversary of White Collar Boxing training bootcamp! It all started in 2008 with a squad of less than 20 first-time boxers. In honor of the anniversary, this edition of Brawl on the Bund will be extra special.
The event will be themed after the famous cabaret show in Paris, Moulin Rouge. Yes, that means fancy dress, windmills, performers and cabaret dancers.
The training camp kicks off on September 4. Over the course of 12 weeks, boxers will train with two coaches three times per week, with each session lasting 1.5 hours.
Brawl on the Bund is a charity boxing event held in Shanghai by White Collar Boxing China. The night attracts over 500 people for a black-tie dinner to watch seven to nine boxing matches with regular Shanghai residents who have trained professionally for three months.
Funds raised at November's event will go towards More Than Aware, a Shanghai-based support club empowering women to be proactive with their health and wellbeing in the prevention and recovery of breast cancer.
