That's Shanghai takes a look at some of the best upcoming F&B events:

June 27: Monty Python and the Holy Grail Movie Night

The folks over at Bordertown are joining forces with Matty Gras (formerly of Ruijin Cajun) to bring a bit of New Orleans to Shanghai with a side of British comedy. Watch the 1975 classic slapstick film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail with junk food mainstays of the American South including swamp dogs and frito pies washed own with RMB20 house wine and RMB25 Kirin pints.

June 27: Spirit Box Pop-Up at Bitter

Spirits Box is popping up at Bitter to celebrate 25 years of Gin & Juice! Snoop Dogg’s 'Gin & Juice' was an instant classic when it was released in 1993, and this year, as it turns 25, the party anthem has lost none of its appeal. He even introduced a whole new generation to the cocktail world when he came out with his song “Gin and Juice,"  single-handedly reviving a classic cocktail from the Jerry Thomas era, a simple, delicious and endlessly variable tipple. Tonight Spirits Box will be celebrating with a creative selection of Gin & Juice, featuring The West Winds Australian Gin.

Pop down for some Snoop D-O-double-G, sippin on Gin & Juice. Laid back.

June 27, 8pm, from RMB80. Bitter, see event listing

June 27: Gin O'Clock

Did someone say it's gin 'clock? Excellent, because Lychee invites you to enjoy a sophisticated evening in their chic three story lane house with special gin cocktails prepared by guest bartenders representing UK-based gins Beefeater and Chase Distillery plus homegrown spirit, Crimson Pangolin. For those who prefer their gins less adorned there will also be gin & tonics and negronis. So, get ready to spend the last week of June hiding from the muggy summer heat at Cotton Ding's lychee-inspired whimsical bar and restaurant tippling cold drinks all night long.
