Shanghai is now home to a new Ippudo restaurant. If you haven’t heard of it already, Ippudo is an ultra-popular Japanese noodle brand that’s famous for its authentic ramen. The first-ever shop was located in Fukuoka, Japan. Now, 30 years later, the brand has perfected its craft and opened hundreds of noodle shops around the world.
Ippudo restaurants are so popular, it’s not uncommon for noodle-lovers to queue at the door. But for Ippudo, the ramen is worth the wait. The cozy, new Shanghai shop is thoughtfully decorated in Japanese décor and features a simple menu featuring its world-famous ramen and noodles, as well as a selection of snacks. Located in Jiuguang, this stripped-down version of the restaurant aims to serve customers more efficiently while still serving the quality dishes Ippudo has become famous for.
