Get Into the Summer Spirit With Favorita's Italian Aperitivo

What better way to truly celebrate the summer than with an Italian aperitivo? Aperitivo is basically an Italian happy hour that combines a range of cocktails with a selection of light appetizers. And Favorita is tapping into their Italian spirit by providing a daily aperitivo all summer long

The origins of aperitivo actually date back to Turin, Italy, in 1786. It was there that Antonio Benedetto Carpano began tinkering with recipes in his small liquor shop. The result was what is now known as vermouth – an herb-flavored wine. Carpano began serving his new creation to his customers before meals.

It didn’t take long for the aperitivo to evolve and become a cultural institution in bars, cafes and restaurants throughout Italy. In the early evenings, when the workday has finished, it’s incredibly common for Italians to partake in an aperitivo. It’s a moment where people can unwind, socialize with friends and of course relax with cool beverages and delicious Italian snacks.

And now you can tap into your Italian side at Favorita’s daily aperitivo. All summer long, Favorita will serve up a spread of Italian finger foods and mix up a selection of iconic Italian cocktails on their patio. For RMB80 guests will get two cocktails – from Negronis to Americanos to Aperol Spritzes – and three finger foods.

It’s the next best thing to being in Italy!
