Enjoy Italian Food & Wine While Dining Al Fresco at Favorita

Spring is officially here and the weather is finally warming up. And that means that al fresco dining season is upon us.

We might be a world away from Tuscany but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy excellent Italian wines and homemade Italian dishes right here in Shanghai. If you’re craving a little bit of sunshine and some authentic Italian, Favorita is the place to go.

Both Favorita locations (in Jingan and near Xintiandi) boast spacious outdoor areas, where they serve up fresh Italian dishes and some of the best (and affordable) Italian wines available in Shanghai.

Soak up the sun and watch the world go by with a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio. Or if wine’s not your thing tap into the true Italian spirit with either a refreshing Aperol or Campari Spritz or a smooth Negroni. And if you're just looking to cool off, there's plenty of ice cold beer on offer.

While Favorita offers plenty in the way of wine, beer and cocktails, their menu also boasts a large selection of authentic Italian dishes.

Light snacks include options such as cold cuts, cheese plates and charcuterie platters. But if you’re in the mood for something more substantial you can choose from mains including Favorita’s signature ribeye steak or fresh whole lobster with handmade, in house tagliatelle. And of course, traditional dishes – from lasagna to spaghetti carbonara – are also available.

Both Favorita locations have expansive patios perfect for relaxing with friends and family. What better way relish the spring weather than to dine al fresco at Favorita?

Do note that outdoor seating at both locations is in demand this time of year, so it’s best to book ahead.
