Mar 27: Zedd
A regular visitor to Shanghai, Russian-German DJ and producer Zedd returns for his latest club show at LINX. Known for major hit songs like 'Clarity' featuring Foxes and 'Break Free' with Ariana Grande, Zedd won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2014 and has released 2 full-length albums.

Mar 28: Beer Plus #2 Grand Opening
Craft beer bar / bottle shop Beer Plus expands to its second location, a
spacious spot in Gubei near the Shuicheng Lu line 10 metro stop. This
new location sports the same vast imported bottle selection as the
first, plus a DIY brewing system where customers can brew their own
beer. The grand opening on Wednesday offers up buy-one-get-one-free
beers all night, while this Friday through Sunday sees a
buy-2-get-one-free deal.

Mar 28: La Vida Loca
Bar Rouge hosts their latest Latin music night, with free salsa and bachata lessons set to Latin beats, plus Puerto de Indias gin & tonics on offer all night.

Mar 30: Count Bass D
Daily Vinyl and Eating Music team up to bring over Atlanta-based rapper, producer and multi-instrumentalist Count Bass D. Active for two decades, he deals in a unique blend funk, soul and hip-hop, featuring film samples mixed with live instrumentation. Check out his latest track with Snoop Dogg, 2017’s ‘Too Much Pressure,’ and then check out his China debut at Arkham with Damacha and Ollo-MAM in support.

Mar 30-31: Sichuan / Italiano
Chef Austin Hu of Madison Kitchen and Diner teams up with Flybyjing's Jenny Gao for this epic
marriage of cuisines with a special menu for Friday and Saturday night
only. Expect mapo on homemade pasta, porchetta with Sichuan spices, red
oil ricotta dumplings and more at Diner's second-floor spot, d2f.

Mar 31: A Knockout 8
The latest charity boxing and kickboxing event from Aboro Academy and Anken Life, A Knockout pits amateur fighters against each other in a spirit of friendly competition. All proceeds from spectators go to the Aboro Foundation, the Academy’s nonprofit community outreach arm.

Mar 31: Fithearts Sweatathon
This charity fitness event takes place at gyms all around the city simultaneously. Participants pay to attend a fitness class at their gym of choice, and then gyms donate the 60 percent of the proceeds to one of Fithearts’ chosen charities, Heart to Heart Shanghai. Mar 31: Mitsume
This Tokyo quartet brings their sunny pop and surf rock to Shanghai. They've released all their albums on their own label, and have a carefree, DIY approach to their music and touring. Catch their MAO Livehouse show through Ye Records.

Mar 31: The Hormones
Chengdu-based all-girl rock group The Hormones embark on a 27-city tour of China to promote their latest album, a follow-up to their well-received 2014 debut EP, Elephant. Don't miss one of Chengdu's best homegrown bands as they pass through Shanghai.

Apr 1: Alpine Decline
Once one of Beijing's best psychedelic rock bands, Alpine Decline has relocated to LA, but continues making their unique strain of trippy and immersive music. The duo is releasing their latest album, Return to Desolation Lake (with cover art designed by Shanghai's IdleBeats) this month on Maybe Mars. Catch the Shanghai stop on their China tour as they debut their most poppy and melody-driven release thus far.
