The Shanghai International Half Marathon returns for its fourth edition on April 22. Registration is open now and will close on Friday, March 9, so make sure to sign up for a spot while you can.

Kicking off at 7 am, the 21.0975 km race features unbeatable views of Pudong, with the course taking runners around the Pearl Tower, Lujiazui, Expo Park and the Oriental Sports Center. Simply put, it’s one of the best ways to see the city on foot — plus, you’ll get all those feel-good after-effects of pumping those endorphins! And for those of you who can’t quite face the full marathon in November, this race may also be the perfect opportunity to break those new running shoes in.
