But for those of you who aren’t interested in doing the whole romantic dinner thing, there are a few drink deals and parties going on around town too. Below, we've rounded up some of the best ladies nights and other nightlife options for V-Day (which falls on a Wednesday this year).

Zapatas' regular Wednesday ladies night will take on a special Valentine's Day theme for February 14. Ladies will get free strawberry margaritas all night long, while free tequila will be served every hour, on the hour.

Boteco Ladies Night
Each week, Boteco holds its Wednesday Ladies Night with a touch of Latin/Brazilian flair. Free flow sparkling wine will be available from 9-11pm, and shots will be given out to all the ladies grooving out on the dance floor. DJ Naz will be playing some of the best Latin and Brazilian hits to keep the good vibes going until the early hours of the morning.

Caviar and Vodka
Every Wednesday, Club 3 1/3 on the Bund holds its special "Caviar and Vodka" night. During opening hours, they'll be offering 30g of Pearl Crown caviar and nine shots of Grey Goose for RMB680 (original price is RMB1,080). No entrance fee.

Don't miss out on this Spring Festival feast of friends. MVP Events has got you covered with this event that's perfect for singles looking to mingle. Every year for the past decade they have gathered around 150 of their closest friends for a Spring Festival feast in a Chinese restaurant. This year it is going down on Thursday, February 15 from 7.30pm, and they have elected for some Sichuan spice at South Beauty's Nanjing Dong Lu location, near the Bund.
