Nov 2: Inner Life Burst Album Release Concert

Club hosts the release show of the Shanghai-based Coelho Band, led by
Portuguese guitarist Luis Coelho. With members from Cuba, Mauritius and
Russia, the band brings together different music cultures for a unique,
guitar-driven sound.

Nov 2: Anvil

Canadian heavy metal band Anvil, who formed in 1978 and were
forerunners of metal's most iconic bands like Megadeth and Metallica,
come to Shanghai for a show at Bandai Namco. Anvil were the subject of
an acclaimed documentary in 2008 and have released 16 studio albums.

Nov 3: P-Town
One of Hefei's veteran DIY punk bands release their third album,
Vendetta! Never Forget!, and embark on their latest China tour. The
supporting line-up features several Shanghai hardcore and punk acts,
from Spill Your Guts to Round Eye to Rebellion.

[Canceled] Nov 4: The Pearl 4th Anniversary
[Ed. note: this event has been canceled. More info here.] Shanghai’s
most spectacular cabaret and theatre celebrates its fourth anniversary
in style with a line-up of its best performers. Expect a top-notch
variety show of song, dance, drag and cabaret from Frank Bray and the
Pearl Jazz Band, Kseniya Penner, Mandy Embers, Lulu Galore and lots
more. Reservations highly recommended.

Nov 5: Twisted Machine Lost in Beijing Tour
Founded in 1998, Twisted Machine is one of Beijing's long-running metal
bands, who are set to return to Mao Livehouse as part of their latest
tour, a nation-wide expedition they've called Lost In Beijing.
