Munich's famed Oktoberfest is coming to Shanghai, thanks to two Bavarians who are bringing the most authentic experience possible!
The Franziskaner Shanghai Oktoberfest will be hosted in the Big Tent from October 25 to 28 just off the Bund next to the Peninsula Hotel.
Your ticket to the Big Tent will include free-flow beer and soft drinks, a delicious three-course Bavarian dinner, and a shot of Helbing to give you a warm welcome.
The German food extraordinnaires at Zeitgeist Bavarian Eatery & Bar are serving up authentic, delicious food for the event.
Keeping in tradition with Oktoberfest, there will be plenty of beer as well as a snaps, cocktail and a wine bar. Play a round of Nageln or test your strength at Hau den Lukas with friends new and old.
For this special occasion, an amazing Oktoberfest band flown straight from Munich will set the party mood, so bring your finest laderhosen and dancing shoes for a night of non-stop fun!
In addition to the Big Tent festival, there will also be a Beer Garden event on Yuanmingyuan Lu.
Enjoy beer vendors, and a variety of delicious food such as German sausages, steak BBQ, kebabs, sweet pancakes and much more. There will also be a live band and carnival games, as well as a play area for kids!
