Madison Kitchen Decamps to New Donghu Lu Location

The future of Shanghai's sandwich game was cast into doubt earlier in the summer when it was announced that the Xuhui District overlords were kicking Madison Kitchen, along with Taiwanese stalwart Charmant, off their patch on Huaihai Zhong Lu.

But now, like a glorious, grilled cheese phoenix rising from an oiled skillet, they are back in business at a new location in front of Bonobo and Monkey Champagne on Donghu Lu. All the old favorites are available, with the possibility of a few new, more advanced hot items arriving on the menu (read: rib-wiches and fried-to-order fish sandwiches!)

The current opening hours are from 10am-8pm for the first week, and 8am-8pm thereafter, closed Tuesdays.
