That's Shanghai takes a look at this weekend's best parties:

Sep 15: Unico 5 Year Anniversary with Boddhi Satva
Unico rings in five years of holding court as Shanghai’s best Bund-side Latin bar, livehouse and dance club. They have a whole week of celebrations culminating in this Friday night show featuring Boddhi Satva, a DJ from the Central African Republic who deals in what he calls ‘ancestral soul,’ a mix of Afro house and traditional music from around the African continent.
Sep 15: Big Dope P
Raring to go for Concrete & Grass? Then why not indulge in some pre-festivities by whetting your appetite with this warm-up show hosted at Ninja. Big Dope P is set to headline with his characteristic brand of turbocharged crunk music with DJ Caution, Heatwolves and MaoMaoQ in support. Word on the street is that there will be a giant pink cat named Xu Dongmei in attendence. Color us intrigued...
Sep 15: Time Tarracho (live) / SIMPIG (live) / Blaise Deville / Mozka

Sep 15-16: End of Summer Party
If your options weren't already plentiful enough, Roxie is throwing an End of Summer Party to say a final farewell to the season. Attending in summery attire awards you a free shot, with the "send-off" featuring across both Friday and Saturday. Why not live in denial of summer being on its deathbed for a few more nights?
Sep 16: DJ Randall
A living legend within the rave scene, float the name DJ Randall about and you're sure to garner an enthusiastic response. Clocking up nearly 25 years in the game, expect faultless drum and bass from one of the scene's true masters.
Sep 16: Wisdy
Originally from Bali, Wisdy holds a residency at a club called Jenja in Seminyak and has shared the stage with the likes of Sasha and Joris Voorn. Lina K and Emil Chang provide support for his performance of forward-thinking techno at Celia. Cover price includes a Jager shot.

Sep 16: Jack J & Neo Image
If you're looking for somewhere to continue the party after Concrete & Grass then look no further: Elevator has got you covered. From 10pm they'll be hosting celebrated Canadian label Mood Hut's very own Jack J and Neo Image. Firmly established as the go-to label for good vibes and hazy house, its doubtful the party will die in their hands.
Sep 16: Mexican Independence Day Party
This Saturday is Mexican Independence Day and down at Zapata's they're celebrating it in style. There'll be free sombreros, a DJ all night and a pinata, which is before even getting to a free tequila shot every hour on the hour and a taco buffet with Carlsberg and frozen margaritas free-flow from RMB158, lasting from 6-10pm. No need to deliberate this one.
