The Royal Concept is a Swedish pop-rock band active since 2010. Their smash hit 'On Our Way' was covered on Glee and featured in several video games. They released their latest album, Smile, in 2015. Catch their show at MAO Livehouse as part of an expansive China tour.

Scorpion Prisoner 69 EP Release

Local band Scorpion Prisoner 69 release their vengeful new EP at Yuyintang with support from fellow punk and metal bands Dirty Fingers, Spill Your Guts and Alpaca.

Chui Wan Album Release Show

Celebrated Beijing psych-rock band Chui Wan release their third album, a complex and exploratory record called The Landscape the Tropics Never Had. Don't miss their album release show at Yuyintang, where Shanghai band Mirrors will play in support.

Sep 2: Nachtblut

Nachtblut

German dark metal band, Nachtblut mark the release of their upcoming album Apostasie with their first ever tour of China. Formed in 2005, the band embark on a four-date tour that sees them headline MAO Livehouse on Sep 2.

Sep 4: D.O.A.

 D.O.A.

Hardcore pioneers, D.O.A. return to China in support of a split vinyl release with Beijing rock band The Diders. Often credited with founding hardcore and spearheading the second wave of punk along with bands such as Black Flag and Bad Brains, the Canadian trio show they've still got a lot to say - last years' 'Fucked Up Donald' speaking for itself.
