Shanghai party crew Love Bang and zine/comics gang Shaving in the Dark are combining their creativity to bring you a night of coloring, Homeslice pizza, hip hop and the opportunity to win prizes. The contest begins at 8pm and ends at 11pm, and winners will get Love Bang merchandise. What better way to spend a Thursday night than letting your creative juices flow while eating some of Shanghai's best pizza?

Aug 11: Ulf Eriksson

Elevator's resident party crew Co:Motion host Ulf Eriksson, the founder of respected Swedish techno label Kontra Musik, which celebrated its 10th anniversary of releasing unique and genuine dance music last year. Eriksson also runs a music festival called Intonal and works an artistic director at Inkonst, a renowned cultural centre in Malmo.

Aug 11: Samuel Kerridge

ALL hosts techno producer Samuel Kerridge, whose brand of slow, driving industrial techno has garnered much acclaim and led to the founding of his own label, CONTORT, in 2015. He hosted a long-running party series in Berlin and released his latest LP, Fatal Light Attraction, last year.

Aug 12: Baauer

The producer of 2012's monstrously popular track 'Harlem Shake' comes to Shanghai for a set at Arkham from S.T.D. The track was one of the first viral songs to garner an artist mainstream fame. Originally from Philadelphia, Baauer is now based in Bushwick and released his debut full-length, Aa, last year.

Aug 12: Lea Lea Land

Celebrate techno DJ James Lealand by dancing all night to music he knows best. Make sure to load up on your caffeine because we've heard that this event will last well into the morning. Aug 12: Raw Cuts featuring Knopha

Xiamen-based DJ Knopha, who founded the label Beatween and has released on Beijing label Ran and Shanghai grime and club music label Push & Pull, hosts this vinyl night encompassing funk, soul, deep and acid house, techno and beyond.

SHFT. is bringing back their wild Rooftop Sessions, this time at The CUT Rooftop bar. This party's title is 'Light It Up,'  with an island theme. They are bringing pillow-soft sand imported straight from the beach of Hainan Island to ensure that everyone experiences the island vibe. The music will be a mix of tropical bass, rasta and SHFT.'s signature hip hop sound.
