July 26-27: Tarra Conner Jones

The powerhouse jazz singer Tarra Connor Jones will be performing her last two shows in Shanghai tonight and tomorrow night at Heyday Vintage Jazz Lounge. Her voice will leave you speechless, especially her renditions of 'Good Morning Heartache' and 'Sunday Kind of Love.' Grab a cocktail, relax and enjoy the smooth, strong voice of Ms. Connor Jones.

July 26: While She Sleeps

201707/While-She-sleeps.jpgMao Livehouse hosts the latest tour of While She Sleeps, a UK metalcore band who regularly play in China. Formed in 2006, they've released three studio albums, and are currently touring their latest, You Are We, which dropped this past April.

July 28: Friday Rock

Korean band project:Impair will be joined by local bands to put on a performance filled with different types of rock music. Nameus, Foster Parents, Mirrors and Lao Ayi represent Shanghai. Expect to hear math rock, psych rock as well as some experimental music.

July 28: Call of the Newborn

O.V.E, Cathay, Death Teach Me Life and Prajna Seashore are a collection of four metal bands who will be performing an array of metal genres including nu metal, folk metal, thrash metal, industrial metal and more. Don't miss out on this metal show at Inferno this Friday night.

July 31: LANY

201707/LANY1.jpgThis indie-pop trio will be making their debut appearance in Shanghai at Bandai Namco next week. Famous for their upbeat electro pop music, it is no wonder they are one of Spotify's most-streamed artists. Sway to their catchy, romantic tunes this coming Monday night.
