May 25: Phazz
SHFT
brings up-and-coming producer Phazz to Le Baron for a set of bedroomy
bass music. As is usual with these Le Baron shows, entry is free, but
you'll need to either be on the list or show up early looking hip in
order to get in.

May 25: Hummus n Chill
Frau of China Social Club and Cem of Shiny Shoes host a night of Middle Eastern disco grooves at Smash. The pair will be playing tunes from Turkey, Lebanon, Israel, Syria, Northern Africa and more. Homemade hummus provided by Ezra.

May 26: Zadig
One of the leading techno DJs in Paris, Zadie brings his forward-looking set to Shanghai for a show at Elevator with Say Yes. He’s performed at Berghain and released tracks on several major techno labels. Misloop and DJ 10000 support.

May 26: Elrow Psychedelic Trip
Ibiza party brand
Elrow brings their 60s psychedelia-themed party to Linx with a headline
set by Elrow resident Bastion Bux, who deals in deep house and
progressive techno. Javi Kalero and Toni Varga spin in support.

May 26: Crank Dat
SHFT brings Cleveland producer Crank Dat, who has a melodic and dreamy take on trap and hip-hop, to Shanghai. Catch his live show at newly-opened Arkham.

May 27: Black Cotton Launch Party
Monthly spaced-out techno night Room 303 hosts the launch of fashion designer Daven Zang’s new Berghain-inspired clothing line, Black Cotton. Korean DJ Unjin will perform, with dark geometric visuals by the designer.

May 27: Riddim 'N Vibe
Riddim 'N Vibe starts your Dragon Boat holiday with a large dose drum & bass music. DJ and producer Arkaik from the UK will spin a stripped-back set with Rabbit, Resinate and MC Jado in support, and everyone who arrives before 11pm gets a free Jager shot.

May 27: Love Boat
In celebration of the start of summer, MVP teams up with M1NT to host their Love Boat themed party. Expect plenty of nautical outfits and decor. RSVP at events@mvpshanghai.com.

This
Havana Club-sponsored party at Dope Shift offers free pina colada shots

May 29: Intro Shanghai by Night Festival
Major Beijing electronic music festival comes to Shanghai for a one-day showcase at both stages of Bandai Namco Shanghai Base. The techno stage hosts the likes of UVB, Dax J and Beijing’s Weng Weng. The bass stage was curated by Shanghai label SVKVLT and features ballroom champion Mike Q, DJ Paypal and locals Osheyack, Howell and Kilo Vee.
