Sad news for former French Concession-based health nuts. Hunter Gatherer’s very first outlet on Anfu Lu, which opened back in 2014, will be closing in a couple of weeks. Sunday, April 23 is its last day of operation.
Well, it’s time to find a new place to do some laptop work on Sundays then.
But there’s a silver lining to this news though. According to the management, they’ll be moving the entire team over to a new location at Taikoo Hui in Jing’an. (Yes, that new complex right next to the Line 13 exit of Nanjing Xi Lu Station.) Expect an opening by mid-May.
In the mean time, our fellow gym rats, yogis or spinning and CrossFit addicts can still get their post-workout healthy bowls and juices at Hunter Gatherer’s Yanping Lu, Hubindao and IFC Mall outlets.
From April 11-23, the Anfu Lu outlet will have a 15 percent Moving Day Sale on all natural grocery products. Ten percent of the proceeds from this promotion will be donated to Shanghai’s Green Food Bank.
