Heyday presents the powerhouse singer from Gainsville, Florida who has floored audiences in performances of The Color Purple and The Wiz. She's performing on Wednesday and Saturday with a powerhouse style that evokes greats Dina Washington, Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn.

Feb 23: Fritz Helder

As one-half of Azari & III, Fritz Helder helped push the boundaries of house. Now as a solo act, he’s introducing a new side of himself with a mini China tour that stops off at Le Baron. For more, check out our interview with Fritz Helder.

Feb 24: Shanghai and Seoul Night

Leading South Korean indie pop trio Manju Pocket have taken over the Hongdae scene with their ppongjjak (an old style of Korean pop that developed in the early 1990s) inspired sound. They’ll be charming Yuyintang with help from Shanghai stalwarts Split Pants, Limousine and Dahlia Rosea.

Get ready for a Japanese take on the British invasion as the fabulous Japan Beatles band perform classics from the Fab Four, bringing the swinging 60s to The Pearl.

Feb 25: Shanghorrorfest

Inferno goes demonic with a screening of Roman Polanski’s classic, Rosemary’s Baby, as well as live sets from a quartet of Shanghai metal standouts – The Machinery of Other Skeletons, Crying Scarcrow, Thy Blood and Hitobashira.

Feb 25: French Karaoke Night
