Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

Milla Jovovich returns as Alice in the sixth and final installment of the sci-fi action horror series. Based on the hit video game series, Resident Evil concludes with one last massive battle between Alice and her friends/apocalypse survivors against the mighty forces of the Umbrella forces. Opens nationwide on February 24.


Film: Assassin's Creed

Feb 24: Assassin's Creed

Speaking of video games, Oscar winner Michael Fassbender and Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard star in this adaptation of the hit action-adventurer. Despite negative reviews, it’s been a big hit grossing over USD212 million already. Opens nationwide on February 24.


Music: QSRxBP 2016-17 Sampler


South China's small but potent indie scene has been given a big boost by two indie labels that started in late 2015 - Guangzhou's Qiii Snacks rose, which rose from the ashes of the influential Full Label, and Shenzhen's Boring Productions. They team up to toast an excellent 2016, while whetting the appetite for what's to come in this compilation that features tracks from established standouts (yourboyfriendsucks, Chestnut Bakeries, White Tulips) and rising buzz acts like The 尺口MP. Available on Bandcamp.

American Crime

Sohu has scored the exclusive streaming rights to the critically acclaimed anthology crime series. For its first season, American Crime follows a home invasion gone wrong in Modesto, California, and the resulting consequences. Oscar winner Timothy Hutton and Emmy winner Felicity Huffman star.
