Going for a big night out this New Year's Eve?

If you're heading to the Bund, be aware there are road closures down on the river so plan accordingly.

Not only that, but they're really cracking down this year on some other major areas of the city as well.

From 7pm on Saturday to 1am on Sunday, motor vehicles and bikes won't be allowed in the area west of hte Bund: Beisuzhou Lu, Xizang Bei Lu, Beijing Xi Lu, Chengdu Bei Lu, Yan'an Dong Lu, Xizang Nan Lu, Fuxing Dong Lu and Waima Lu.

Yan'an's ramp will be shut at Jianxi Nan Lu. And cars will only be able to use the Bund tunnel.

Xintiandi is getting hit too. Vehicles won't be allowed from Hubin Lu between Huangpi Nan Lu and Jinan Lu and Shunchang Lu between Chongde Lu and Hubin Lu from today to 1am on Sunday.

Between 8pm to 1am on New Year's Eve, the areas neer Danshui Lu, Fuxing Zhong Lu, Xizang Nan Lu and Huahai Zhong Lu will only be open to pedestrians.

And Metro Lines.. Nanjing Dong Lu Station, Lines 2 and 10 will be shut and the No1 exit of the Xintiandi station, lines 10 and 13 during that time.

The worst of it? Bund Sightseeing Tunnel shut. Bu hao. The ferry line Donjing between Jinling Xi Lu and Dongchang Lu will also be shut.

Here's a map to help visualize all of this:
