It's time to talk turkey.
Thanksgiving is one of the most important festive holidays in America, originating in 1621 when the Plymouth colonists and Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast. It wasn’t until 1863 however, that President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be held each November.
The festive celebration is nearly here and The Kerry Hotel Pudong is getting into the gobble game early, offering three turkey hampers to choose from: a turkey, a honey roasted ham and a wagyu beef hamper with prices from RMB995-RMB1,295.
For those who prefer to dine out, The COOK and The BREW are also offering festive dinners featuring roasted turkey, pumpkin pies and all the rest of your favorites.
The COOK's Thanksgiving buffet will be RMB388/person, plus 10-percent, while the BREW's will be RMB268/person, plus 10-percent. But dinners will be held on November 24 from 5.30-9.30pm.

But Kerry Hotel Pudong knows it's not just about giving thanks and a big meal, but also about giving love.
They will also be hosting a Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony from 5pm on the day after their Thanksgiving celebrations, November 25, wtih special guests Snoopy and Charlie.
The duo will kiss under the hotel lobby's Christmas tree, which will be followed by choir performances from international schools NAIS, Dulwich and Wellington School.
With every kiss or hug under the Kerry Christmas tree, Kerry Hotel Pudong will donate RMB1 to the “Snoopy Love Foundation” to help the students in remote area in China to have a better study environment.
