Taking place in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Shanghai for one night only (November 12), top restaurants across the city dedicate one table for 10 to the Chi Fan For Charity (sponsored by Epermarket) cause and put on a one-of-a-kind multi-course menu, which can be bought by any group of people. Afterwards, a legendary after party with free-flow drinks takes the celebrations long into the night.
This year’s line up is nothing short of stellar, including some of our favorite chefs and restaurants, from high-end classics and veteran chefs to up-and-coming movers and shakers. Over the next few days we'll be highlighting key dishes which will be featured on the menu of CFFC venues.
Today's sneak peak is from Jade on 36..
Jade on 36
Maine Lobster with Herb and Corn Beignets, Porcini Espuma
Stunning views of Shanghai are a given when dining at Jade on 36, situated at the top of the iconic Shangri-La Tower in Pudong. One of Shanghai’s longest running French eateries, the famous restaurant finds itself under the watchful eye of Jeremy Biasiol. But if you thought Biasiol would be a vanguard of old school French cooking, think again.
Having forged an 11-year career cooking at Alain Ducasse’s Michelin-starred restaurants, Biasiol’s signature style takes classical French style on a trip around Asia, creating modern dishes inspired by his travels. Guests at Jade on 36’s CFFC dinner will get an experience of Biasiol’s playful techniques, in a luxurious six-course meal.
One of Biasiol’s proudest creations to appear on the CFFC menu is freshly imported Maine lobster, with herb and corn beignets and a porcini mushroom espuma (foam).
Price: RMB800 per person
