2 Sick Parties Going Down This Weekend at Dogtown, Boom Boom

The long weekend is coming in hot, and there's a slew of community parties going down in the city. Up in Jing'an, neighborhood street bar, Dogtown, is hosting a fancy dress party on Saturday, while Boom Boom Bagels is taking care of Sunday with a city-wide skate trip in partnership with Vans.

Get your flat caps on and pull out your pocket watches, Brew Dog, Jameson and Dylan from BRASH Barbershop + Tattoo are all getting together to host a Peaky Blinders-themed party at Dogtown this Saturday September 17 from 5-11pm.

On offer will be an entirely new Brew Dog beer line up, which has never featured in Shanghai before. Dylan from BRASH Barber + Tattoo will be offering on site hair and beard styling for whiskered chaps. Jameson Whiskey will also be attending and keeping spirits high (pun intended), providing shots throughout the evening.

Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in costumes befitting the theme, in the style of the grimy Birmingham-based gang drama. Prizes will be awarded to those who "come looking posh."

Boom Boom Sunday Skate-A-Thon

Make the most of your long weekend by throwing it down on a skate trip around the city this Sunday September 18, with prizes up for grabs for the sickest tricks.

The party will meet at 3pm at Spot Skate, and you can expect a trip to multiple venues where skaters will be performing tricks for prizes. Venues will include Dogtown, Dope Shifu, the aforementioned BRASH, plus a final stop at Boom Boom Bagels to reward a day full of hard work on the wheels, where therewill be a live DJ putting on a party long into the night. Vans, Brew dog and Jameson will all be joining the tribe.
