As factory work is set to be suspended in Shanghai ahead of the G20 summit in Hangzhou, both world leaders and nearby residents alike have been greeted with crisp, blue skies — a shade that netizens have nicknamed 'G20 Blue.'
While factory work hasn't even been completely shut down yet — it's scheduled to be during the two weeks G20 is in town — the stunning shade of blue has been spotted across Shanghai, as well as the neighboring provinces of Zhejiang and Jiangsu. It's reminiscent of the color 'APEC Blue,' a buzzword netizens came up with after Beijing saw an unprecedented number of blue sky days as world leaders poured in the capital for the conference in November 2014.
