Temperatures hit 40 degrees Celsius (104 F) in Pudong on Monday and it looks like they'll stay sky-high for the next ten days, reports Shanghai Daily
Brace yourselves for temperatures of up to 39 degrees (102.2 F) over the coming days with some relief coming early next week when the subtropical high pressure front responsible for the heatwave moves north. The temperatures should dip to around 36 degrees (96.8 F) and below from next Tuesday onwards.
