Join a discussion group facilitated by ICA curators using Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS). Rather than exhibition tours, ICA Study Sessions are guided conversations based on curious exploration, critical reflection, and collective meaning making. Each session will focus on a specific screening series of the current exhibition Do Rocks Listen? - an exhibition by Karrabing Film Collective. The first series is composed of their three earliest films, also known as the “Intervention Trilogy,” which stage the everyday lives of Indigenous families under competing demands from their ancestral presents and a settler colonial state.
Each Study Session follows immediately after the scheduled screening time for the series on which it will focus. Participants may screen the films on their own before the study sessions. RSVP here https://eu.jotform.com/form/212138711131038 to visit the exhibition (onsite or online) and please REGISTER for this event. https://eu.jotform.com/212658443957467
