After a busy school year behind a desk, how about letting you and your kids feel that call of the wild? This hands-on 5-day camp in Yingchuan village near Huangshan is all about just that. You'll be out in the wilderness learning nature crafts, creative games, natural sciences, practical outdoor skills, and engaging with activities to boost your child's critical thinking, self-confidence, risk assessment, and team-building skills. The camp will include activities for the budding natural scientists such as chances to observe and discuss the relationships between the local ecosystem and its wildlife, instruction on how to identify the local animal and plant life. There will be nature walks, games, and wild cooking classes. It's suitable for 1.5-9-year-olds, and broken down into age-appropriate groups. All the Montessori-inspired classes will be taught using both English and Chinese.
There will be three camps: July 19-23, and July 26-30.
