A global Covid-19 pandemic outbreak has changed our usual path in life. Female artist Li Li turns her focus on the year of 2020 as a specific background and uses her signature image of "Li Li Girl” to record all the memorable moments and emotions by following the steps of time as a visual diary from a female’s perspectives.
In this exhibition, we can see the joy when the New Year of 2020 was approaching; the tension and anxiety during the darkest days of the COVID outbreak; the concerns and praise to the female medical teams; the praying and blessings to the patients; the yearning for freedom and health as well as the good expectations for the upcoming year..
Li Li's artworks are bright and vibrant with full of imagination and positive energy. She is good at capturing the transient emotions in daily life with her unique sensitivity and delicacy as a woman and representing them through her brushes. This exhibition intends to seek the comfort, reflection and cohesion that art offers us.
