The Shanghai Writing Workshop is proud to present its newest project: Circle of Sages!

Circle of Sages will undermine the idea of academia itself with a lecture series that informs, entertains, and satarizes the very notion of a lecture. Veteran educators from Shanghai will offer lectures on topics that sound like they might be facing a thesis defense, but on topics that have never found their way into a professor's office.

Some of the potential topics might include:
Snorlax's implied narrative over the course of the Pokémon franchise
The dialectics of the Mexican American War
A practical primer to Mordorian grammar
A Keatsian reading of Kanye West
An analysis of Shakespearian death monolgues for effectiveness
