Spittoon and the Shanghai Writing Workshop are combining forces to create a huge literary event. 2:00-3:30 brings together Beijing Lights, a series of interviews of everyday Chinese citizens, and Strangers in China, a podcast that interviews Chinese creatives, for a public talk. 4:00-5:30 Professor Ryan Thorpe will be hosting a literary pub quiz. 6:00-8:00 will bring together many of the publications in Shanghai for a combined reading. Publications include The Shanghai Literary Review, Alluvium, Babel, Shaving in the Dark, and A Shanghai Poetry Zine.
