Beijing post-doom band Nekroma have announced the release of their second EP entitled ‘Asura’ and a tour that will take the band across China, Thailand, and Cambodia in support. The first stop on the tour will see Nekroma coming to Shanghai for the first time ever, joined by Ayahuasca and Hock for a night of mayhem at Lofas on Friday September 27.

The follow up to their debut self titled EP, Asura sees Nekroma draw on their diverse musical and cultural backgrounds to create a four song odyssey that draws parallels to classic doom bands such as Cathedral, Witchfinder General, and Candlemass yet transcends being limited to a single genre by combining elements of prog rock, baroque classical, and traditional Chinese folk songs, with lyrics in English, Chinese, German, and Korean.
