Humans have used up more of Earth's resources than it can regenerate within one year as of August 1st, 2018, according to the Global Footprint Network. There are limits to the life-sustaining resources earth can provide us. This July we are discussing the concept of overpopulation. Does that even exist? Is overpopulation a myth with the sole purpose of covering up larger and far more important problems?

Could the way we treat each other more be more important than the number of people in the world? The documentary Population Boom starts with this as the basis for debate and becomes a cinematic journey with the masses between myth, facts and politics.

Join us to watch Population Boom (2013) and reflect what are the deep issues shaping the 21st century. The film was crowned with the Green Me Award for the Best Green documentary in Berlin.
