The Michelin recommended restaurant, Si Ji Xuan, is presenting their summer menu and seasonal summer hairy crab delicacy.
Entering the month of June, we are welcoming the best season of the year--"Summer Hairy Crab (or June Hairy Crab)." The hairy crab, primarily captured before their maturation period, is the most desirable dining selection during the summer time. It's because the crab is still immature that it has a unique, irresistible fresh and sweet flavor, meat thats tender and smooth and a delicate fragrance.
From July 13 until the end of September, Si Ji Xuan will be serving eight summer cooling dishes that feature authentic Shanghai style delicacies including delicious summer crabs served marinated in Shaoxing Rice Wine Sauce.
This is the third year Si Ji Xuan welcomes back this popular signature summer dish. Restaurant Chef Wayne selects the best summer crabs. After steaming, crabs are soaked in the special sauce for 48 hours to make sure taste is absorbed well by the crab.
