The Peninsula Shanghai launches this year’s range of two Michelin-starred Homemade Mooncakes in preparation for Mid-Autumn Festival. This year, Chinese Culinary Advisor Chef Tang Chi Keung and Dim Sum Master Chef Lai Wing Koon are proud to present a trio of Homemade Mooncakes crafted by experts, including Traditional Egg Custard, Durian Egg Custard and Taiwan Egg Custard.
The festive period of 2018 will witness even greater innovations that will bring the Mid-Autumn gifting experience up-to-date and in line with modern purchasing habits. Michelin Homemade Mooncakes will be available for purchase in the form of a Peninsula E-Gift Card from 12 July, which may be simply forwarded and later redeemed by the recipient.
The Peninsula Shanghai Handmade Custard Mooncakes gift set (8 pieces) is priced at RMB438, the Durian Mooncake gift set (8 pieces) is RMB468 and Pineapple Mooncake gift set (8 pieces) is RMB448.
All mooncakes are handmade and released in limited batches.
