HOW Art Museum·Design Center (HDC) will launch the Master’s Exhibition “Eternal Flow: Zaha Hadid Design×Crossover” from March 23 to July 22, 2018. This is the first exhibition in China that shows crossover works by Zaha Hadid Design. As the first female architect winning Pritzker Architecture Prize, Zaha Hadid (1950-2016) had the unique design style with profound impact on the world’s architectural community. In addition, Hadid was also a master good at crossover. The exhibition focuses on the crossover creations of Hadid. In addition to the debut of the limited home furnishings and installations collected by HOW Design Center, ZHD, London, the co-organizer of this exhibition, will also bring new works in 2018 representing the world’s top design standards. The exhibits range from furniture, home accessories, jewelry,, publishing and other fields, so as to provide audiences with the different dimensions of aesthetic perspective to understand Hadid.

The name of the exhibition “Eternal Flow” origins from the core of Hadid’s creation: curve. Hadid was always “opposed to right angle” and is well-known for promoting the integration and flow of spaces, thus many classic buildings are created. Poet Rainer Maria Rilke once said, “The future stands still.....but we move in infinite space”. This is just like the images presented in Hadid’s works: the artistic charm of Hadid is in the eternally flowing curves, which circulates constantly for a new life; meanwhile, it permeates in various fields of people’s life, revealing the imagination of the future.
