The debut album from guitarist Luis Coelho features tracks written over a musically colorful career spanning 15 years. A devotion to rock music and his Portuguese roots can be heard on the album, alongside the influences of an abundance of different musical cultures within the Shanghai music scene that have encompassed his career over the last eight years.

Formed in 2016, the Coelho Band who you hear on the album, are a geographically eclectic quartet with musicians Andy Santana from Cuba (bass), Giovani Chaton from Mauritius (keys) and Anton Shumeev from Russia (drums); all well established musicians in their own right.

Despite only a handful of previous live shows, the band are rapidly gaining recognition within the Shanghai music scene for their “unique sound” and “musical compatibility”. Festivals for 2018 are confirming them early to avoid missing the booking opportunity.
