Winter in Shanghai got you down? Come on down to Kathleen’s Waitan – we’ve got a quartet of classic cocktails to welcome spring!
Beautiful, tropical Cuba was the birthplace of Hemingway’s Daiquiri, created for brilliant daiquiri-loving writer Ernest Hemingway at El Floridita, his favorite bar in Havana.

Tommy’s Margarita will transport you to sunny Mexico – it’s a great riff on the traditional margarita, using agave syrup instead of Triple Sec.

Cocktails don’t get any more classic than the John Collins: this “gin punch” goes back to early 19th century London when it was created by the headwaiter at Limmer’s Hotel in stylish Mayfair.

The delicious Mint Julep has been a summertime favorite in the American south since the 18th century, but its most famous association is with the Kentucky Derby horse race, where 120,000 are served each May.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, ginger keeps the body warm in the winter – and our delicious, non-alcoholic Kathleen’s Ginger Tea will heat you up from the inside!
