Zai Live|在现场 returns for a second installment: Japanese rockers “SEKAI NO OWARI” and Taiwanese singer-writer “YEN-J”
Following its well received debut in July, live music series Zai Live is back with new lineup and continues to explore diverse music styles from Japan’s biggest indie-pop act to Taiwanese jazz-pop singer-songwriter.
Yen-j, also known as Yan Jue, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter who’s well known for his skillful combination of jazz and pop. The prolific singer has ventured into the Mandopop scene in 2010 with his fresh sounds in “Thank You For Your Greatness” in 2010. He gained further exposure by producing songs for popular TV drama soundtracks and famous Mandopop artists like Fish Leong, and A-mei.
Yen-j joined Zai Live | 在现场 with his “2010-2015 Our Time with Yen-j” concert, “Shanghai has special meaning to me as both my parents are half Shanghainese. I’m really excited to play in Shanghai soon.” It’s been a year since his last appearance in Shanghai at Simple Life Festival. This time Yen-j will bring along the greatest hits in his 6-year-long career to his fans in Shanghai.
