Like its famous sister restaurant Jia Jia Tang Bao, Lin Long Fang is a specialty noodle and dumpling shop specializing in steamed-to-order xiaolongbao soup dumplings.
These come with a variety of fillings: pure pork (xianrou xiaolongbao 鲜肉小笼包), pork and salted egg yolk (xiandanhuang xiaolongbao, 咸蛋黄小笼包), and exquisite pure hairy crab (chun xiefen xiaolongbao, 纯蟹粉小笼包). The latter is best enjoyed when the crab is in season, from late October to early January.
Their scallion oil noodles (congyou banmian, 葱油拌面) and spicy meat noodles (larou banmian, 腊肉拌面) are also worth ordering.
