Yu Bao Xuan, or named Imperial Treasure, is an upscale Cantonese restaurant from Singapore. Its Shanghai branch set up in Yifeng Galleria, where fine dining venues cluster.
It is said dining in Yu Bao Xuan is cost-effective among two Michelin starred restaurants. Siu Mei is a dish to test basic skills as to how to cook Cantonese food, like Barbecued Pork in Honey that should be sweetly aromatic and in strong brown. Its stewed soups put in place all what to be rendered. E.g. Shark bone and maw soup will appear to be beige white and aromatically mellower after a few hours of stewing. Cream custard bun is the best you can ever find in Shanghai, in which salted egg yolk and creamy milk strike a perfect balance. In addition, roasted goose is the most popular dish you may find it nearly on every dining table.
