The Tandoor is an award-winning restaurant and the first Indian fine dining restaurant in Shanghai. Known for its authenticity and excellence for 25 years, The Tandoor was awarded the “Bib Gourmand” award by the Michelin Guide in 2018.
The newly renovated The Tandoor, located at the historic Jin Jiang Hotel, offers a stylish, elegant and inviting environment with 4 dining pavilions: Chinese, Persian, Turkish, Buddhist; 1 private dining room inspired by the Sun Temple of Konark, that can seat up to 10 guests; and an outdoor terrace lounge: The Verandah, to enjoy a meal, a nice cocktail and Shisha.
A menu created by Executive Chef Sanjay Tyagi inspired by Indian cuisine originally cooked only in the Royal Kitchens will be an experience of flavours you will remember forever. To complement the menu, an array of desserts, signature cocktails, mocktails and a curated list of wines have been thoughtfully handpicked.
