Upmarket Sushi Naoki is well worth the trip out to Gubei, home to the highest concentration of Japanese expats in the city. Run by sushi itamae (chef) Kevin, formerly of Maison Asano, Naoki is one of the most premium omakase experiences in the city. All ingredients are flown in from the fish markets of Japan on the daily, and menus rotate depending on the best catch of the day. Specialties include aged chutoro (fatty tuna), and nigiri-zushi seared by blowtorch.
