One of the more exclusive eateries in Pudong, Shang-Xi is the flagship Chinese restaurant of the Four Seasons Pudong, serving a combination of traditional Shanghainese and Cantonese dishes in an opulently designed setting. With just 22 seats in the main dining room, Shang-Xi's five private dining rooms are almost always occupied with well-heeled diners, necessecitating prior booking of at least three days.

Also notable is the wine list, which carries numerous vintages produced in China.
