Located on the second floor of Jing An Shangri-La, Shanghai, TSURU, has launched a new lunch and dinner set menu. Specially crafted by the Japanese Head Chef of TSURU, Kamata Hideki, who has notched up almost 30 years’ worth of cooking skills, the new set menu offers a variety of delicious combinations with fresh ingredients, inviting guests to enjoy simple and refined Japanese cuisine in the heart of the city.
Among the twelve lunch set menus, the restaurant's popular dishes such as the Cod Fish Set, Grilled Eel Rice Box & Sashimi Set, and the Sashimi Set are retained, and many of the chef's signature dishes have also been added. The Braised Beef Tongue Set is delicate and tender, after being stewed in Miso Soup and paired with Tomato Sauce. For the Udon and Sashimi Set, the chef chooses finer Inaniwa Udon Noodles, which are smooth and chewy, while the Sashimi in the set refreshes the taste. The Japanese Curry Tonkatsu Set is a classic Japanese set meal to be enjoyed. The Pork is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with a rich and spicy Curry Sauce. The lunch set menu starts from RMB118 and comes with Salad, Pickles, warm Egg Custard, Appetisers, Dessert and more.
At the same time, the restaurant offers three dinner set menus, starting from RMB308, presenting richer dishes such as Avocado Salad, Crab Egg Custard, fried Abalone and Scallop Tempura, Angus Beef and more.
