Country: Russia
Best result: First appearance
Odds: 5000/1
Pool C: Australia / Ireland / Italy / Russia / United States
Greatest moment? A 21-21 draw against Romania in preliminaries on 27 February 2010, which was a ticket to our first Rugby World Cup appearance ever...
We don’t want to talk about it? World Cup qualification in 2003. The team was disqualified for fielding three South African-born players: Johan Hendriks, Reiner Volschenck and Werner Pieterse. How could that happen???
Where we'll be watching it? Irishman's Pub, Thumbnail Plaza, Pudong. Great atmosphere and a terrific host in Declan - an actual Irishman - both make this place the best one.
Sing your heart out for the lads? Might be some of Chelsea FC chants?
Biggest rivals? Georgia. This is where sport and real life seem to interfere.
Star Man? Our coach Nikolay Nerush.
One to watch? Vasili Artemyev (pictured), the first Russian to join an English Premiership, the Northampton Saints.
Bad Boy? Adam Byrnes, our Australian-born lock, for his scary outlook.
Boy Blunder? Kirill Kulemin, a lock who plays for Castres Olympique. The Blunder is the injury that occurred to our team's superstar and has resulted in him missing the Rugby World Cup 2011.
Heart Throb? We've got three: Prop Alexei Travkin, number eight Victor Gresev and center Mikhail Babaev.
So what are our chances? We used to win against teams like Italy around 30 years ago, now beating the US team would be a great achievement...
