Good news for expats in Guangzhou. The online grocery store Xpatmall has comes into service. There are a range of imported food and beverages available. Xpatmall offers free delivery in Guangzhou during business hour.
Zhujiang New Town just keeps growing with the newly opened British bar, The Covent Garden, which is located on the Huaqiang Lu. And the previous Barrel Bar in Huali Lu has changed its name into C+ Bar. Bocca Café has opened in the Canton Place near to Oggi.
The food and drink business is booming in Jianshe Liu Malu. Xiang Zhi Fu, a Hunan restaurant, has opened its doors in the same building as 1920. The western restaurant No. 9 Garden, a veteran restaurant in this area has set a new branch in Foshan.
The western restaurant Bravo on Huanshi Dong Lu has reopened after renovation. And French restaurant and bar Le Saint-Tropez is as undergoing a make over.
In Guangzhou Dadao Zhong, the Talk Coffee Bar has popped up with a simple and artist décor.

The Italian Restaurant, Nero Vivo, is an old friend to us, and we were happy to learn that there are some new seasonal dishes on the menu. Gnocchi alla Bacon (RMB58), Breaded Sea bass with Seafood Sauce (RMB138) and Pizza Samba (chicken, bacon, banana; RMB88) are among the new selection.
Nero Vivo introduces seasonal menus by changing it every two months, in order to ensure the quality of food with fresh ingredients. Having authentic Italian food with fresh ingredients is definitely a good news for patrons. In the competitive food scene in Jianshe Liu Malu, Nero Vivo is setting the standard for quality.

Shaanxi Snacks
Lao Liu Jia is a canteen style restaurant offering Shaanxi snacks, which is derived from the cuisine of northwestern China, melding savory carb-heavy dishes with spicy flavour.
Roujiamo (肉夹馍, RMB8) – a pita-like bread stuffed with minced pork – is a mouth-watering snack. The bread is crispy and fragrant. The pork inside is very juice and tasty, because it has been slowly stewed for a long time. And Qinzhen Rice Noodle (秦镇米皮, RMB7) is one of their specialties. It is a dish of cold rice noodles doused in a vinegary and spicy sauce with cucumber slices and crushed garlic. The crispy cucumber and the soft rice noodles contribute to the refresh snack. If they don’t strike your fancy, there are also a collection of Shaanxi style noodles and cold dishes available.
